Chinese Online is a learning resource free of charge help you learn Chinese by yourself easily and systematically. The site currently focuses on vocabulary sets by topic with clear presentation: Chinese characters, pinyin, Vietnamese meaning, example sentence and notes use right below each item. Additionally, each set comes with "Writing practice" for you to see stroke order and practice writing with quiz interact.

What will you find on the site?

• Vocabulary by topic: from Weather, School, Vehicle, Feeling, Ask for directions, Job, Tourism…choose the right topic and learn it now.
• Each vocabulary entry has sufficient material.: Hanzi, pinyin, meaning, examples and “How to use” section help understand the context correctly.
• Practice writing Chinese characters: press Writing practice to open popup view stroke order, turn hints on/off and do quiz practice hands
• Quick Learning Tips: suggestions for practicing intonation, creating sentences, using flashcards and reviewing periodically at the end of each set.
• Share for the community – completely free: content is compiled so that anyone can access and self-study.

How to get started

1. Go to the home page and select “Start with the Vocabulary”, or open a topic you need (eg. Weather, School).
2. Read the vocabulary entry: Hanzi → pinyin → meaning → examples → usage to grasp the context.
3. Press Writing practice to see stroke order and practice writing with quiz.
4. Scroll down Quick Learning Tips to review effectively and maintain study habits.
